The HawaiŹ»i Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs (DCCA) Insurance Division has created a Post-Disaster Insurance Claims Guide and an instructional video to help residents through the insurance claims process.
Residents are encouraged to begin emergency repairs as soon as they have documented their damages.

Alert Kauaāi is the County of Kauaāiās mass notification system for Kauaāi and Niāihau residents and and visitors. Choose the types events you want to be alerted about and how you want to be notified. Enter one or more addresses to get targeted alerts about events impacting specific areas you care about such as your home and workplace.
Alert Kauaāi is used in addition to warning systems that donāt require sign up, such as wireless alerts that sound on your mobile device, sirens, and alerts that interrupt radio and TV.
